1oddday, on September 19, 1976, in Tehran, Iran - Imperial Iranian Air Force pilots reported seeing a UFO in the skies. Jet interceptors approached the Mysterious craft, as it began emitting bright lights and making strange noises. At that moment, both Lieutenant Yaddi Nazeri, as well as his backseat weapons officer, both claimed that the jet's instrumentation and communications devices became non-operational. 👽🛸🌙
🛩 It was then that a second F-4 fighter jet was dispatched - piloted by squadron commander Major Parvis Jafari, and First Liutenant Jalal Damirian. Jafari approached what he described, as a multitude of bright lights, so bright that it didn't allow him to see the structure of the UFO. Jafari, and Damirian decided to get a radar lock on their target, to attempt a missile strike, but the same unexplainable malfunctions started happening to them as well, shutting down all of the jets instrumentations. On ground level, four witnesses described seeing both the intense lights, as well as hearing the strange sounds.

📺 The incident garnered widespread attention and was even discussed in the Iranian parliament. Some officials suggested that the UFO may have been a foreign spy plane, while others speculated that it was a UFO of non-human origins. The incident was investigated by the Iranian military, but no concrete explanation was ever found. Despite the lack of a clear explanation, the Tehran UFO incident remains a gem in both ufology, and the search for better understanding of the UFO / UAP phenomenon. 💎
